The Hidden Cost of Success: Why Inner Work is Essential for Sustainable Achievement

You can still be successful without doing the inner work, but it will feel like pushing a boulder uphill.
For years, my heart longed to do something different from the corporate grind, but my fears held me back from fully being there. Even though I was taking action— practising holistic wellness, working on my business, coaching and teaching yoga, acting in films and performing on stage —something always felt off.
These activities were fulfilling, yet they came at a significant cost: my nervous system was constantly fried.
The huge energy expenditure was due to my inner child kicking, screaming, and dragging their feet the whole time. By the time I achieved something, I'd have to crawl into a hole and hibernate for ages to recover.
This pattern continued until I realised that my unhealed inner child wounds were causing these energy drains.
Working on our inner child wounds makes it so much easier to navigate life’s changes. When we heal those wounds, success no longer comes with such a heavy toll on our energy and well-being. We can achieve our goals with more ease, joy, and resilience.
If this resonates with you, consider joining me for the Heal Your Inner Child Workshop. Together, we’ll explore powerful techniques to examine your childhood wounds, heal your inner child, and rewrite your beliefs. Click here to join me!
